STEAM Programs for Preschoolers in New South Wales
Children at Henley Long Day Care are now enjoying introductory lessons in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics as part of recently introduced STEAM program offered for children aged three years and over.
Centre Manager Nathan Tully said the STEAM program encouraged exploration and curiosity in fields children needed to prepare them for primary school.
"Our preschoolers are really enjoying the new science focus, as they are able to investigate concepts such as weight, time and motion in a play-based learning setting," Nathan said.
